he practice of sketching your ideas is integral to not only the curriculum of Carnegie Mellon University, but the way we communicate as individuals within the studio. Our professors have drilled into us that the best way to explain what you're thinking is to draw a picture of it. As a result, we are continually encouraged to practice and utilize design sketching to help us work through our thoughts and communicate them to the world.
