etween 2019 and 2022, I released three small clothing lines under my brand/company "Treevas," experimenting with many creative mediums including fashion, graphic design, web design, and photography. My understanding and passion for sustainable design grew over these years and I believe this is evidenced across each line. I credit this project for my discovery of the design industry, and it continues to well-reflect my design ethos.
Contribution: All my work but all typography was licensed and red shirt graphic was hired out, see below.
Timeline: ~3 Years (On and Off)
Date Completed: August 2022
Association: Personal Project under Treevas LLC
"Eunice N. Foote Printed Ringer Tee," telling a visual story of the woman who discovered the effects of global warming and was never properly appreciated for it.
"Nature's Regalia Embroidered Thick Crewneck," depicting a vibrant and powerful root system emerging, curved at the bottom to suggest the curvature of the Earth.
"Embroidered Tracker Jacket and Pants," a modern, slightly humorous take on the classic workout pairing featuring the line's catchphrase, "Nature's Regalia."
"Treevas Embroidered Tote Bag," a rather minimalist design featuring my company name in four different nature-inspired typefaces I licensed from James Coffman.
"Slaystainable Embroidered Tee," a humorous play on words between the slang term "Slay" and "sustainable." This one got a lot of friendly laughs from customers.
NOTE: Central graphic was hired out. From my "Junction Terminus" line, this tee references the year when global warming is predicted to reach 1.5°C.

cross each clothing line release, sustainability increased as a priority for myself as I became more passionate and educated. With my first release, each piece sold was only printed after the order had been placed, preventing excess waste. With my second release, the content of my designs centered around environmental advocacy.
With my third release and final release, the materials and manufacturing of my pieces were highly considered, being manufactured in a net-zero facility with non-toxic inks and renewable/recycled fabrics. However, in retrospect, none of these releases were circular and I have learned a lot since then. Regardless, I greatly value the learning experience.
